PwC India Foundation and Bal Umang Drishya Sanstha collaborate to launch new Mobile Health Van—advancing healthcare access

PwC India Foundation introduced a new Mobile Health Van (MHV), expanding its corporate social responsibility efforts to enhance healthcare access in Delhi NCR in collaboration with Bal Umang Drishya Sanstha (BUDS), the van aims to reach 30,000 beneficiaries annually across Sarai Kale Khan, Mori Gate, Shiv Vihar, Seemapuri, and Noida Sector 8. This MHV will provide essential healthcare services, including CBC and dengue testing, alongside regular health checks as well as counselling and awareness sessions on wellbeing and healthcare.

“This initiative is about adding momentum—bringing essential services directly to communities in need,” said Jaivir Singh, Vice Chairman, PwC India Foundation. “In collaboration with BUDS, we have reached over 2,00,000 individuals since 2017. We remain dedicated to fostering inclusive health access and continuing this positive impact.”

Dr. Rajeev Seth, Chief Trustee, BUDS, BUDS, said, " Through this collaboration with PwC India Foundation, we are taking healthcare to the very doorstep of the most underserved communities. The new Mobile Health Van is not just about treatment—it is about dignity, accessibility, and the promise of healthier futures for thousands of vulnerable children and marginalised families."

The inauguration was attended by Manoj Kumar Singh, Director, Cabinet Secretariat of Government of India, along with Jaivir Singh, Vice Chairman, PwC India Foundation and Rajeev Seth, Chief Trustee, BUDS. This ongoing initiative is a testament to PwC India Foundation’s commitment to improving primary healthcare services for underserved communities. It goes beyond providing medical services by promoting health awareness and education in vulnerable areas.
