Anil Chaudhary Research Fellowship on Political Economy

PEACE invites applications from eligible candidates for a ten-month fellowship (one) constituted in the memory of one of its core founders Anil Chaudhary, a renowned educationist and facilitator.

This fellowship is an opportunity for multi-disciplinary scholars to deep-dive into research in the areas of politics, economy, governance, social movements, and contemporary power structures, methods of resistance, experiential pedagogy, development models, alternatives, commons and collectives.

The fellow will work closely with a research mentor/supervisor and a staff to gain valuable experience, support, and learnings in a democratic work environment rich with books, resources and on-the-field exposure. During the fellowship period the fellow will be part of the ongoing research project at PEACE.

Who should apply

• The fellowship invites applications from a diverse range of applicants, which may include scholars, teachers, writers, journalists and social activists having a minimum of Master’s degree.
• PEACE especially encourages applications from multi-disciplinary bilingual scholars and writers who are interested in cross-sectional learning and long-form writing.
• Fellows are expected to be good at writing in English as well as Hindi.
• Applicant’s age must not be more than 40 years.
• Proficiency with computer, internet and online research tools is desired.
