About Vasundhara:

Vasundhara is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation focused on natural  resource governance and sustainable forest-based livelihoods. We primarily engage in research and  policy analysis, capacity building, and community-based forest management systems, particularly  concerning the Forest Rights Act, 2006.  

Role Overview:

The Fund-Raising Officer will design and implement strategies to secure financial  resources and ensure the sustainability of Vasundhara's initiatives.  

Core Responsibilities:  

• Develop fundraising strategies and proposals in collaboration with senior management  team.  
• Identify and engage potential donors and funding agencies.  
• Build partnerships and collaborations for resource mobilization.  
• Monitor and report on fundraising outcomes.  

Qualifications:  

• Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Social Work, or a related field. 
• At least 7 years of experience in fundraising and resource mobilization.  
• Proven track record in securing grants and partnerships.  
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.  

Skills and Competencies:  

• Effective proposal writing and presentation abilities.  
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills.  
• Ability to meet fundraising targets.  

Duration: Consultancy contract based on project requirements.  

Reporting: Executive Director  

Remuneration: Rs. 60,000 to Rs.75,000 pm based on experience and suitability as a consolidated  salary.Tax will be deducted at source as applicable.
