AJSA India, a reputed nonprofit working in the domains of public health, education, and community development since 1989, is looking for an experienced and committed General Physician / Doctor for its Healthcare project being implemented in the districts of Balangir and Kandhamal in Odisha.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead mobile medical unit (MMU) visits to operational villages and deliver primary healthcare services, especially TB-related consultations.
• Conduct screenings, diagnostic support, and basic treatment for suspected TB patients and those with comorbid conditions.
• Collaborate with community health workers and local health systems for referrals and follow-up care.
• Facilitate awareness generation sessions during outreach camps to educate the community on TB symptoms, prevention, and treatment.
• Support in designing IEC content and participate in special TB awareness drives and community health campaigns.
• Maintain detailed medical records, patient registers, and ensure reporting as per project requirements.
• Participate in monthly review meetings and contribute to monitoring and evaluation of project impact.

Eligibility Criteria:

• MBBS from a recognized institution with valid registration under the Medical Council of India / Odisha State Medical Council.
• At least 4-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in public health, rural health services, or TB-related projects.
• Strong willingness to travel to interior locations via Mobile Medical Units.
• Good communication skills in Odia and Hindi, with empathy and a people-centered approach.
• Basic computer skills and reporting abilities are essential.
