Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- Master’s degree in environmental science, Public Policy, Urban Planning, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a closely related field. A bachelor's degree may be considered if complemented by significant work experience, but a master's degree is strongly preferred.
Min. years of relevant work experience
- At least 7 years of experience with Master’s or 9 years of experiencewith bachelor’s degree, in Science, Environment science, Social Science, Engineering in related fields.
- Experience of working in waste management, circular economy, understanding of the waste management supply chain or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple vendors or partners, preferably in a consulting or project management capacity.
Required skills and competencies
- In depth understanding of the waste value chain, stakeholders dynamic, recycling technologies, responsible sourcing, and endof-life solutions with a strong understanding of sector specific policies and regulation, aligning with circular economy principles and environmental sustainability frameworks.
- Experience in developing high quality policy briefs, guidance materials, SOPs, training content, and communication tools tailored to various stakeholder groups, including low-literacy audiences and field partners.
- Competence in designing monitor frameworks, analyzing data, and contributing to impact reporting aligned with responsible sourcing goals and donor requirements.
- Experience in coordinating with governmental bodies, civilsociety organizations, and the private sector in urban contexts.

- The ability to lead and contribute to evidencebased research and innovation within the waste management and recycling ecosystem.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and establish robust partnerships across sectors.

- Gender & Social Inclusion: Strong commitment to ensuring equitable participation of women, youth, and marginalized groups.
- Accountability & Results Focus: Proactive in settingmilestones,managing risks, and delivering high-quality outputs.
- Required Language(s) Proficiency in English and Hindi
