Monthly Salary: 25,000 (Consolidated)

AJSA India, a leading development organization working across Odisha since 1989, invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the position of X-Ray Technician for its Healthcare project. This project aims to eliminate TB through early detection, diagnosis, and awareness in the districts of Balangir and Kandhamal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate X-ray machines and ensure proper diagnosis of suspected TB patients as part of the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU).
• Maintain and operate RT-PCR machines and assist in the collection, handling, and processing of patient samples.
• Ensure high-quality imaging, proper calibration, and daily upkeep of diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain patient records, test results, and support reporting as per project guidelines.
• Ensure infection control, radiation safety protocols, and equipment hygiene.
• Coordinate with the physician, community health workers, and lab technicians for patient diagnosis and follow-ups.
• Support in health camps and diagnostic drives across operational villages.

 

Eligibility Criteria:

• Diploma in Radiology / X-Ray Technician Course from a recognized institute.
• At least 1–2 years of hands-on experience operating digital X-ray equipment and handling RT-PCR diagnostic procedures.
• Familiarity with TB diagnostics is highly preferred.
• Willingness to travel with Mobile Medical Unit to field locations regularly.
• Good understanding of medical safety protocols, infection control, and patient handling.
• Basic computer skills to manage diagnostic reports and digital logs.
• Candidates from Odisha or with Odia language proficiency will be given preference.

 

Remuneration & Benefits:

• Monthly Salary: ₹25,000 (Consolidated)
