Purpose of Job

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Power Platform Developer to design, develop, and deploy custom business solutions that leverage Copilot Studio. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience creating AI-powered chatbots, external websites, custom business applications, and automated workflows. This role involves integrating these components with each other and with other Microsoft services to deliver robust, secure, and user-centric solutions.

Key Roles/Responsibilities:

Power Platform integration:

• Build custom Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps that connect to and utilize data from Power Pages and Copilot Studio.
• Create custom connectors and advanced workflows with Power Automate to integrate with various data sources and automate complex business processes.
• Utilize AI Builder and Azure OpenAI services to integrate advanced AI capabilities into apps and websites.

Copilot Studio development:

• Design, build, and deploy AI-powered chatbots and virtual assistants using Copilot Studio (formerly Power Virtual Agents).
• Use generative AI features to ground chatbots with organizational knowledge for more accurate and comprehensive responses.
• Integrate Copilot Studio with other Power Platform components like Power Apps and Power Automate to create multi-agent systems and enable AI-driven workflows.

Power Pages development:

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, external-facing websites using Power Pages.
• Customize Power Pages sites using Liquid templates, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for advanced branding and functionality.
• Integrate Power Pages with Dataverse to display and collect data securely.
• Configure and manage web roles, page permissions, and other security features for external users.

Dataverse and governance:

• Utilize and extend Microsoft Dataverse for secure and centralized data management.
• Ensure all solutions adhere to security, governance, and compliance standards.
• Perform solution design, prototyping, and deployment, adhering to Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) best practices.

Collaboration and support:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Provide technical support, training, and documentation to end-users.

Essential Qualifications

• Any Graduate, preferably bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or information technology.
• Working Experience of 6+ Years
• Proven work experience as Microsoft Power Platform Developer

Essential Experience

Preferred Key Skill /Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform suite, including Dataverse, Power Fx, and standard/premium connectors.
• Proficiency in web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid templating language.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400), are highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Essential Skills

• Essential Experience  6+ years of Microsoft Power Platform development: Significant hands-on experience designing and building solutions with Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Power Pages experience: Proven experience (2+ years preferred) developing and deploying websites with Power Pages, including custom branding with CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid templates.
• Copilot Studio experience: Hands-on experience (2+ years preferred) with Copilot Studio, including developing intelligent chatbots and integrating them with other Power Platform tools.
• Integration and API experience: Strong experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Azure services, and external APIs using custom connectors.
• Dataverse expertise: Experience with data modeling in Microsoft Dataverse and configuring security roles and permissions.
• AI proficiency: Practical experience leveraging AI capabilities with AI Builder, Azure Cognitive Services, or Azure OpenAI for intelligent solutions.
• Competencies: Fluent in communication, understanding requirements and Troubleshooting
• Decision Making Control: Decide appropriate solutions and deliver the required solution within budget, time and in prescribed quality
