Job Description

In a world where data is increasingly crucial for organisational success, not for profit organisations often face the following challenges:

  • They struggle to determine which metrics are most relevant to measure, making it difficult to gauge impact and progress effectively.
  • They find it challenging or are unaware of how to leverage available technology and tools to their full potential, hindering the ability to analyse and derive actionable insights from data.
  • Staff may lack the necessary knowledge and skills to make informed, data-driven decisions, resulting in underutilization of valuable data.

This is where the Project Manager at Goalkeep comes in. A Project Manager is in charge of leading projects from start to finish by solving one or more of the above problems thus fostering a strong data culture for not for profit organisations.

Your ability to manage multiple projects, communicate effectively with clients, and adapt to the unique challenges of the non-profit sector will be critical to success in this role. Job Responsibilities

As a Project Manager at Goalkeep, you will be responsible for delivering tailored data solutions by leading the planning and execution of assigned projects. This role involves working closely with client stakeholders and Goalkeep data analysts, to ensure all project deliverables are met with allocated resources with a focus on delivering high value.

Leadership responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, managing expectations, and fostering strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to understand their needs, provide regular updates on project progress, and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Mentor and manage assigned data analysts to deliver on the project.

Technical responsibilities:

  • Develop & lead the successful execution of project plans on the basis of the project scope by understanding objectives, outlining key deliverables, efficient allocation of resources and tracking as per timelines .
  • Designing measurement frameworks and indicators to assess and track organisational or program outcomes.
  • Designing and facilitating sessions for diverse stakeholders such as trainings, data reviews, focus group discussions to enable stakeholders to use data for decision making

Miscellaneous

  • Capture lessons learned from each project and contribute to the refinement of Goalkeep’s project management processes.
  • Contribute towards Goalkeep’s growth by driving the planning, execution, and achievement of organizational OKRs

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have at least 4 years work experience in the development sector preferably in roles involving directly managing and/or consulting with external stakeholders .
  • Must have experience in Designing measurement frameworks and indicators, Visualisation tools such as Looker Studio, Metabase, Power BI, and/or Superset & Facilitating trainings, data reviews and/or FGD’s.
  • Ability to interpret and present complex data insights clearly and effectively.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong project management and problem solving skills
  • Ideally based out of Mumbai, Bangalore or Delhi.
