Job Description

• Will be required to be physically fit to perform the duties.
• Should be able to perform the inspection of fire pumps, Fire alarm system, Ventilation system, pressurization system, Talk Back system, Fire extinguishers, P A system and integration of FAS with above mentioned systems as per NBC 2016 and other relevant standards.
• Should have knowledge of relevant Indian Standard codes and operation of Fire Equipment’s.
• Should be able to do fire safety planning of events, management of large crowds and
• leading the team from the front.
• Should be able to act as first responder in case of any emergency situation and also keep team well prepared to deal with any emergency situation.
• Should be proficient in working with computers
• Assisting day-to-day activities of the concerned Division/Section/ Unit and maintenance office records.
• Any other task assigned by the concerned Division/competent authority.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

Essential

• Bachelor degree in any discipline from Government recognised Institute /University.
• Should have passed Sub-Officer Course from the National Fire Service College, Nagpur with four years post qualification work experience

                         OR

• B.E / B.Tech in fire safety from Government recognised Institute /University with two years post qualification work experience.

Desirable

• Bachelor Degree in science-related disciplines
