About the Organization

The National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG) was set up in 2014 by the Government of India as an apex–level autonomous institution under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.

NCGG deals with a gamut of governance issues from local, state to national levels, across all sectors. The Centre is mandated to work in the areas of governance, policy reforms, capacity building and training of civil servants and technocrats of India and other developing countries. It also works as a think tank.

Job Responsibilities

Policy Research and Analysis

• Conduct in-depth research to evaluate the economic, social, and statistical impact of existing policies/programmes/schemes.
• Propose evidence-based policy recommendations grounded in quantitative and qualitative research.

Data Analysis and Management

• Collect, clean, and process large datasets from diverse sources to ensure accuracy and usability.
• Perform statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within data.

Research Dissemination and Communication

• Prepare and publish research findings in journals, conferences, or organizational knowledge repositories.
• Draft presentations, infographics, and summaries to communicate results effectively to diverse audiences.
• Act as a resource for interpreting complex research data and results.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

Post Graduation in Economics/ Applied Economics/ Agricultural Economics (Dairy Economics and Livestock Sector) / Public Policy/ Policy Administration/ Statistics (Analytics) from reputed Institutions Those completing Post Graduation by July-August, 2025 may also apply.

Salary

70,000 per month (salary as per NITI Aayog guidelines 2023)
