About the Organization

Today, it is the countrys largest private player in the sector. Apart from Mumbai and Delhi, the company has generation capacities in Jojobera, Jharkhand and Karnataka. As a growth strategy , Tata Power has ventured into several greenfield projects in Generation. The 4000 megawatt imported Coal-based generating station at Mundra , Gujarat , 1000 megawatt Thermal Power plant at Maithon , Jharkhand are some of its recent involvements. It has got several other upcoming capacity additions / greenfield projects in Maharashtra , Jharkhand , Orissa , West Bengal.
Responsibilities
Should have a good understanding of Environment management activities in a coal based thermal power Plant
Exposure to rules and regulations of MOEF /CPCB and JSPCB
Conversant with Environmental auditing
Should have a good understanding water management, Coal and ash quality
Should have a good understanding Environmental monitoring
Should have good understanding Safe chemical handling practices
Understanding of spare and logistics Management
Exposure to basic Maintenances activities..
Exposure to basic knowledge QMS/EMS/OHSAS
Exposure to testing methods of environmental parameters
Ability to study the process and develop methods / processes to minimize all kinds of waste / effluents
Ability to withstand pressure
Possess excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills.
Display Drive for Results
Qualification /Experience:
B.Sc - Any Specialization + M.Sc - Environmental science
4 - 8 Years of experience in Environment management activities
