Applications are invited for the post of Consultant/Research Associate for the Project on `Outlook of Agriculture’ Funded by the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India, in the Agricultural Development and Rural Transformation Centre of the Institute.
Qualification/Experience
a) Ph D/Master’s Degree in Agriculture Economics/Economics/Rural Development.
b) Knowledge of econometrics and applied agriculture research is essential along with good academic record.
Desirable:
a) Preference will be given to candidates having experience in handling data related to time series and knowledge of handling consumption data of National Sample Survey (NSS).
b) Familiarity with computer and Eviews, Stata and other statistical packages.
c) Experience in Quantitative and Applied Economics/Agricultural Economics will be given preference.

The position is temporary initially for six months but likely to continue till the duration of the project. Salary is consolidated, negotiable between Rs. 20,000 to 35,000 depending on the qualification and experience of the candidates.
