About the organisation
Planet Water Foundation (PWF) is a US based, non-profit organization focusing on bringing clean, safe water to disadvantaged communities in the developing world through the installation of water purification systems combined with the implementation of hygiene education programs. PWF is focused on schools and rural villages where access to clean water is non-existent or very limited.
Responsibilities
Project Monitoring: Monitors the ongoing condition of projects post-deployment to include assessments of installed equipment and surveys on deployed education programs.
Corrective Action Management: Oversees and manages any corrective action needed to ensure the ongoing sustainability of projects through working with a team of Field Sustainability Coordinators.
Water-Health & Hygiene Education Program: Supports local deployment partner in the training and implementation of PWF\'s education program to include the assembly of education activity kits.
Health Monitoring: Supports collaborative efforts in monitoring the longitudinal health profile of project beneficiaries (communities).
Represents PWF and interacts with partners including government and national / international non-profit organizations.
Essential requirements for this position are as follows:
University graduate
At least 5 years working experience with a successful record in managing an NGO program/project portfolio
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Good communication and interpersonal skills, analytical skills, negotiation skills, and leadership skills
Computer literate including proficiency with Microsoft Office programs - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Self motivated, results oriented, and assertive
Qualification /Experience:
Any graduate/Post Graduate 5-10 years of experience in water treatment , sustainability management
