About the Organization
WWF-India, the country’s largest environmental conservation NGO with a national branch network is looking for dynamic and young Education Officer to work on a project on ‘Education for Sustainable Development’, at its Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh State Office located in Bhopal.
Responsibilities
Project work including biodiversity conservation, conservation of wilderness areas and spreading environmental awareness
Interacting with students and teachers of school and college level
Guiding school/college - level environmental projects and workshops
Developing resource material
Conducting environmental events and nature camps within the state.
Qualification/Experience
At least a Masters degree in Life Sciences, Environmental Sciences or Ecology, a Diploma in Mass communication, B.Ed/ M.Ed is desirable;
2-3 years of experience in a similar role;
Good report writing, presentation skill & oratory abilities;
Willingness to travel extensively.
Other Desired Skills:
An understanding of forest, wildlife, biodiversity and environmental issues;
Experience of conducting Environmental Campaigns within the country;
Fluency in English and Hindi languages is essential;
Energetic, proactive and capable of working positively in a team.
