Responsibilities
The content writer will be responsible for writing articles to be published online and author short reports on energy and environmental markets. The company\'s focus areas include carbon markets, climate change mitigation and adaptation, renewable energy and energy efficiency. The content writer shall be responsible for drafting and delivery of newsletters, and, updates on website. The applicant for the job needs to be tech savvy and have the ability to search for relevant content using search engines. The applicant should have ability to grasp core ideas from reports and write about the same in simple and lucid language. A willingness to learn about new developments in environmental sector will be helpful. The content writer will need to communicate primarily to the business community and therefore ability to extract and pull out relevant information from business perspective is preferred. Qualification /Experience:
Any graduate
Excellent English language skills
Advanced MS Excel skills
Excellent MS Word and MS Powerpoint skills
Excellent ability to use multiple search engines for secondary research over internet
Experience of writing and/or editing articles and blogs
Ability to meet strict deadlines
At least 1 year Experience of writing for an environmental sector focused publication
Experience of working with development sector and/or international NGOs
