RFP for Consultant for Bioregional Mapping of Purvanchal

Project Overview

Jagriti Enterprise Centre - Purvanchal (JECP), under the Bioregional Centre of Excellence (supported by Rainmatter Foundation), invites proposals from qualified consultants or organizations to undertake a comprehensive bioregional mapping of Purvanchal (Eastern Uttar Pradesh: Deoria, Gorakhpur, Kushinagar, Sant Kabir Nagar, Maharajganj, Mau, Ballia, Basti, Azamgarh, Siddharth Nagar). The project aims to develop a holistic understanding of the region through a robust indicator framework integrating ecological, social, cultural, and economic dimensions—grounded in local realities—using GIS-based mapping and environmental baseline analysis.

Project Duration: 3 months

Location: Strong preference for consultants based in Delhi to facilitate close collaboration with CoRE Stack and IIT Delhi teams.

Technical Partners

This project will be executed in close coordination with the CoRE Stack and IIT Delhi teams, who will provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
