Director Programs

Organization: Muskaan Dreams

Apply By: 15 Aug 2025

Location: Noida(Uttar Pradesh)

As India stands on the brink of the 4th industrial revolution, technologies like Artificial Intelligence are rapidly reshaping the future of learning and work. Yet, millions of students—especially girls from underserved communities—remain excluded due to limited access to STEM education and the growing digital divide. While access to schooling has improved over the past 15 years, exposure to computer science and 21st-century skills remains alarmingly low.

According to ASER 2023, only 28.1% of young female students pursue STEM in classes IX and above, and just 14% of women enter STEM careers—dropping to 2–5% in leadership roles. The gender digital gap is stark: only 33% of women in India use the internet, compared to 67% of men.

With India’s digital sector expected to double by 2025, creating over 60 million jobs, the urgency to act is now. Early, inclusive interventions are essential to equip every child—regardless of gender or background—with the digital skills needed to thrive in a tech-driven future. This is not just a challenge—it’s a defining opportunity to reimagine education for equity and impact.

At Muskaan Dreams, we’ve spent the last 8 years building solutions to bridge this critical gap—impacting over 5 lakh+ children so far. But we know that to reach 10 million children and drive lasting, systemic change, we need bold, entrepreneurial leadership. That’s where you come in. We’re looking for a Director Program & Impact—not just to run programs, but to co-lead a movement. Someone who sees the urgency, understands the complexity, and is ready to design and scale tech-enabled, inclusive solutions for the future of Bharat. If you believe every child deserves access to the digital future—and are ready to lead from the front—this is your opportunity to make it happen.

About Muskaan Dreams
Muskaan Dreams is a Forbes recognised tech non-profit organization committed to transforming the quality of education in India by integrating digital innovation into government school systems. Our vision is to build a future where every child, regardless of background, can harness the power of technology to thrive in an increasingly digital world.

We believe that empowering teachers and students with the right digital tools is key to bridging learning gaps and creating equitable opportunities. Our model focuses on building the digital capacity of government schools by enabling teachers, leveraging existing infrastructure, and embedding technology into classroom practices.

Since inception, Muskaan Dreams has impacted over 500,000+ students, worked with more than 5,000 government schools, and trained 15,000+ teachers across six Indian states. Despite increased investments in education, a large number of government schools still lack functional ICT labs and effective digital integration in pedagogy. We address these gaps by partnering closely with state education departments to drive systemic change, ensuring that technology is not just available—but meaningfully used—to improve learning outcomes at scale.

Our work is supported by some of the credible funders like Fidelity APAC Foundation, Central Square Foundation, Dell, LTIMindtree, Amazon, Motilal Oswal Foundation, Lenovo and DXC Technology.

Program Overview:
Muskaan Dreams operates two flagship programs aimed at improving the quality of education through technology-driven interventions:
  1. Digital Shaala is Muskaan Dreams’ flagship program aimed at reimagining classroom learning by embedding technology into everyday teaching practices. The program empowers government school teachers with digital tools, high-quality content, and capacity-building support to deliver engaging, tech-enabled lessons. Designed to align with national education policies and existing government infrastructure, Digital Shaala fosters a sustainable digital learning ecosystem. It emphasizes data-driven monitoring, continuous teacher support, and student-centric approaches to improve learning outcomes at scale. Through strong government partnerships, the program ensures systemic adoption and long-term impact across public schools.
  2. Innovators of Tomorrow: This program aims to empower students with 21st-century skills by fostering STEM education, computational thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Through a hands-on learning approach, we introduce students to coding, robotics, and digital literacy, preparing them for future careers in the digital economy. We also work on advocacy efforts to integrate computer science education into government school curricula. The program focuses on equipping both students and teachers with essential digital skills, creating exemplary schools that serve as models for effective computer science education in government institutions.
  3. The AI Literacy Program is designed to equip students from government schools—especially those from underserved communities—with foundational knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and its real-world applications. The program introduces students to core AI concepts, ethical considerations, and hands-on learning through engaging digital content, activities, and projects. Aligned with India’s NEP 2020 and global SDG 4.7 goals, the program fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and future-readiness. It also focuses on building teacher capacity and integrating AI education within existing school systems to ensure long-term sustainability and scale. Our goal is to democratize access to AI education and ensure that every child, regardless of background, has the opportunity to thrive in a technology-driven world.
Both programs are designed to create lasting systemic change by ensuring technology adoption at scale through government collaboration and continuous program improvement. Our efforts have led to 68% of teachers reporting improved teaching effectiveness using digital tools, and 76% of students expressing increased confidence in STEM-related learning
