About Niyatee Foundation
Niyatee Foundation is a not-for-profit organization established in 2012, working in the areas of child welfare, education, women empowerment, youth skill development, and sustainable livelihoods. The Foundation partners with CSR organizations and government agencies to implement impactful development programs across communities.
Role Summary
The HR Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end human resource functions of Niyatee Foundation. This role involves recruitment, onboarding, HR documentation, staff coordination, compliance support, and employee engagement. The position is well-suited for enthusiastic freshers looking to build a career in the development sector, as well as experienced HR professionals seeking meaningful work.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for field staff, project staff, interns, and office personnel
- Coordinate job postings, screening of resumes, interview scheduling, and selection processes
- Handle joining formalities, orientation, and induction of new employees
HR Operations & Documentation
- Maintain employee records, attendance, leave, and HR files
- Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, contracts, and experience letters
- Support payroll coordination and maintain salary records
Employee Engagement & Support
- Act as a point of contact for staff HR-related queries
- Support employee welfare, motivation, and engagement initiatives
- Assist in performance tracking and appraisal processes
Policy & Compliance Support
- Support implementation of HR policies, code of conduct, and workplace guidelines
- Assist in statutory and compliance-related documentation (PF, ESIC, labor laws – basic level)
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies and ethical standards
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with project managers and leadership on staffing needs
- Prepare basic HR reports and staff data for management and donors
- Support audits and CSR compliance documentation as required
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Graduate or Postgraduate in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Work, or related fields
- Freshers with strong interest in HR and social sector are encouraged to apply
- Basic understanding of HR processes and documentation
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi (Odia preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and basic computer applications
