Purpose of Job
|
Role is to support Donor, Partnership and Funding department functions under Inclusive Bharat Collaborative - This role is positioned at the intersection of public health, data analytics, strategy. The Strategic Data associate will contribute to high-impact, mission-critical initiatives by applying strong analytical, problem-solving, and data visualization skills, including literature reviews to support solution design, stakeholder engagement, and data decision-making domains in tribal health and welfare programs.

Essential Qualifications
|
- Graduate with Data analytics skills -Degree in Public Health, Development Studies, Social Work, Public Policy, Health Administration, or Business Management.
|
Essential Experience
|
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in consulting, research, data analytics, proposal development, /public health projects
- Experience/understanding of stakeholder engagement and partner relationships.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to draft data driven reviews, CXO presentations, project data analysis and effective reports.
- Prior experience in the development sector with a strong understanding of the donor ecosystem and funding landscape.
- Open to working on short deadlines and managing multiple priorities.

Essential Skills
|
- Proficiency in tools for data analysis.
- Data visualization skills using Tableau, Power BI, or Excel dashboards, similar skills.
- Experience reviewing literature /public health /sociodemographic datasets (NFHS, HMIS, SRS, Census).
- Good understanding of public health issues in India (experience in any of the fields related to nutrition/Maternal Health/Child Health/ Communicable/Non-communicable diseases/Gender/Climate-health).
- Ability to create compelling presentations and documents for CXOs, board members, donors, and government stakeholders.
- Experience managing ambiguity and leading cross-functional teams in mission-driven settings.
- Passion for public systems transformation and social impact.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English mandatory, Hindi desirable).
- Team leadership abilities with experience managing or mentoring junior colleagues.
- Humility, agility, and an openness to learn, reflect, and adapt quickly.

Key Roles/Responsibilities:
- Support designing of tribal and rural health system interventions across thematic areas through literature reviews, deriving insights from data sets
- Design business cases, policy notes, and pitch decks for government and donor engagement.
- Create and manage governance processes for critical projects and strategic programs.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses using public health datasets (NFHS, SRS, HMIS, Census, etc.) and program data.
- Use Python/R / other data tools for analysis and create visual dashboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Translate complex data into compelling insights for strategy, program planning, and external communications.
- Design and validate tools for research, monitoring, and evaluation of interventions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including program, partnerships, MEL, and strategy to ensure alignment and coherence across projects.
- Mentor junior analysts or research associates, helping develop their skills in consulting, problem-solving, and storytelling.
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing workshops, cross-functional alignment, and structured learning reviews.
- Conduct systematic research and intelligence gathering on funding landscapes, including RFPs, donor priorities, CSR opportunities, and thematic trends.
- Assist in drafting high-quality, data-informed proposals and concept notes aligned with tribal and vulnerable community needs and aligned with the Foundation’s strategic goals.
- Support cross-functional writing for board-level reports, donor updates, and impact summaries.
