We work closely with national, state, and local governments to transform government schools and government systems. Job Description

The Project Associate at Peepul is purpose-driven, understanding the organisation's values and the significance of their work. The Project Associate plays an important role in ensuring the success of Peepul's ongoing partnership with the Government of Madhya Pradesh, aimed at achieving quality education for all and supporting the enhancement of the public school system in India. Specifically, the Project Associate will be primarily responsible for the effective design and implementation of teacher training and capacity-building programs related to computer science curriculum integration within the state's academic framework, with a focus on Sandipani Vidyalaya Programme Schools and other state priorities.

Job Responsibilities

• Establish productive working relationships with state-level subject matter experts from the School Education Department and partner organisations.
• Work closely with Sandipani Vidyalaya Programme Schools to ensure the successful implementation of the computer science curriculum, providing regular support and guidance to teachers and school leaders to effectively integrate the curriculum.
• Collaborate with the education department and partners to design a teacher training program tailored to the computer science curriculum. 
• Design or assist in designing engaging and interactive short courses that enhance the learning experience of both students and teachers in computer science.
• Conduct training sessions on various computer science topics, such as MS. Office, Scratch Jr, Scratch, and other relevant subjects, targeting teachers and students.
• Assist in developing mechanisms for monitoring and evaluating the impact of the training programs, ensuring that the desired outcomes are achieved effectively.
• Undertake any additional tasks necessary to successfully implement the program.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• At Peepul, we seek talented professionals passionate about driving educational transformation and making a positive impact. We are looking for individuals who possess the following qualifications and meet the role requirements:
• Educational Background: A relevant educational background in Education, Computer Science, or related disciplines is highly preferred.
• Work Experience: We value both professional and personal experience. Candidates with 2-4 years of experience in designing and delivering effective teacher training programs, preferably in the field of computer science education. 
• Other Skills: Proficient in designing engaging computer science curricula for students and skilled in developing effective teacher training sessions.
• Language Proficiency: English and Hindi
