About the Organization

National Safai Karamcharis Finance & Development Corporation(NSKFDC),  A wholly owned Govt. of India Undertaking under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment (M/o SJ&E) was set up on  24th January 1997  as a Company “Not for Profit” under Section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956.  NSKFDC is in operation since October, 1997, as an Apex Corporation for the all round socio-economic upliftment of the Safai Karamcharis, Scavengers and their dependants throughout India,through various loan and non-loan based schemes.

Job Responsibilities

• The proposed PMU would be called State Project Manager (Coordinator for NAMASTE at State level) and shall be deployed with the State Nodal Officer - Rural (SBM-Gramin).
• SPMU would report the progress of implementation in the Districts/ Blocks/ Gram Panchayats of the State assigned, to the State Nodal Officer (NAMASTE) and also assist the SNO in coordination and regular follow up with the concerned block/gram panchayat for taking action for implementation of the Scheme.
• SPMU would report the progress periodically and as and when required during implementation of NAMASTE and any other report or information, in respect of Districts/ Blocks/ GPs of the assigned State, to NSKFDC in the mode as may be required and would be responsible for regular updation of MIS on the NAMASTE portal.
• The SNO and NSKFDC are authorised to direct the SPMU to visit any District or Block or GP for any work relating to implementation of NAMASTE.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Graduate or Post Graduate degree from a recognized university in urban planning, Social Work, public policy, business administration, Sociology, Anthropology, Commerce, Science or other related fields, with at least 55% marks.
• Two years’ relevant work experience in case of Graduate candidates
• Excellent communication (both oral and written) in English and the official language of the State/ UT of deployment.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office and proficiency of working on various mobile applications.

Desirable:

• Relevant work experience of two (02) years for Post Graduate Candidates.

Salary

The PMU would be paid monthly remuneration of Rs 45,000/- per month inclusive of applicable taxes and statutory dues.

An amount of Rs. 10,000/- per month has been estimated on their TA/DA, which would be paid on actual basis upon furnishing the original bills/tickets.
