Job Description
The CMGGA Programme is a flagship initiative of the Government of Haryana, supported by Global Village Foundation and Rishihood University, aimed at engaging promising young minds to strengthen governance at the grassroots. It focuses on a results-driven approach, combining experiential learning with social impact to create sustainable improvements in public service delivery. As an immersive fellowship, the CMGGA Programme places Associates in all 22 districts of Haryana, enabling them to work alongside district administrations and the Chief Minister’s Office while contributing to impactful reforms and improved service delivery.
The Team Lead will provide overall programme leadership, strategic guidance, and operational oversight to ensure effective implementation of CMGGA initiatives. They will mentor and support CMGGA Fellows in executing innovative governance solutions, coordinate with government stakeholders to align district initiatives with state priorities.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage, guide, and supervise a team of CMGGA Fellows, ensuring clarity of goals, accountability, and timely delivery of outcomes.
- Monitor the performance of Fellows, track project progress, and ensure outputs meet programme quality standards.
- Ensure alignment of team outputs with programme priorities, government expectations, and district-level requirements.
- Build a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the Fellow cohort and wider programme team.
- Coordinate with Sectoral Experts to design, refine, and support implementation of district-level projects.
- Undertake extensive travel and community outreach across rural and urban areas to identify key challenges, capture citizen priorities, and ensure strong grassroots connections.
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- Master’s degree in management, Public Policy, Communication, HR, or related fields.
- Minimum 7–8 years of relevant experience in leading teams and managing projects in government, development, or corporate sectors.
- Prior experience in governance programmes, fellowships, or large-scale reform initiatives.
- Strong track record of working with government stakeholders and managing cross-sector partnerships.
- Experience in capacity-building, mentoring teams, and driving high-impact outcomes.
