Job Summary

Niyatee Foundation is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content Writer to support its programmes, communications, and outreach initiatives. The role involves developing clear, engaging, and impact-driven content for reports, proposals, digital platforms, and promotional materials, aligned with the organization’s mission and development work.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and edit content for reports, proposals, case studies, and success stories
• Create website, blogging, social media, and newsletter content aligned with programme objectives
• Support documentation of project activities, field stories, and impact narratives
• Coordinate with programme teams to gather inputs and ensure content accuracy
• Ensure consistency in language, tone, and branding across all communication materials
• Edit and proofread content for clarity, grammar, and quality
• Maintain an organized content repository and documentation archive
• Support preparation of presentations, brochures, and IEC materials
• Adhere to communication timelines and reporting requirements in line with communication Guidelines.
• Good Communication skill, Writing skill and Presentation skill

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Social Sciences, or a related discipline from a recognized university

Experience Required

• 2–4 years of experience in content writing, documentation, communications, or related roles
• Experience working with NGOs, development projects, or social sector organizations preferred
  (Candidates with strong writing skills and relevant exposure are encouraged to apply.)

Key Skills & Competencies

• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Strong command over English; working knowledge of Odia preferred
• Ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences
• Attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
• Basic understanding of digital content and social media platforms
• Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and related tools
