About the Organization
The Foundation was formally established on 9 March 2001 (under Section 25 of the Indian Companies Act of 1956). Since then, Azim Premji has contributed a substantial portion of his wealth to create a philanthropic endowment, valued at approximately INR 2,40,000 crore (USD 29 billion) as of January 2023. This endowment serves as the financial corpus supporting the Foundation’s various initiatives.
Job Description/Responsibilities
Program Managers will be responsible for strategising, designing and anchoring implementation of one or more aspects of this initiative such as the processing of applications, outreach and engagement with various stakeholders, maintaining of databases of government institutions and others, designing modules, organising capacity development workshops, conducting dipstick surveys, cleaning, organising and analysing data (large data sets) and writing reports and short summaries.
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 7 or more years experience, candidates having experience in development sector will be preferred
- An undergraduate degree in any discipline from a reputed institution
- Advanced project management skills and experience in managing large teams
- Event management and execution
- Advanced analytical and writing skills. Ability to get into details, specifics of new domains, high learnability
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (word, excel and outlook)
- Advanced language proficiency – reading, writing, and speaking – in English and any one or more of the regional languages – Hindi, Urdu, Kannada, Telugu, and Odia
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and various teams
