Master Trainer cum Centre Manager (Fashion Technology/ Jute)

ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE OF INDIA (EDII) INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR THE POST OF MASTER TRAINER CUM CENTRE MANAGER (FASHION TECHNOLOGY / JUTE) FOR TUMKUR, SIRA, AND RAMANAGARA:

Position: Master Trainer cum Centre Manager (Fashion Technology/ Jute) – (3)

Location: Tumkur/ Sira/ Ramanagara 

Qualifications & Experience

• ITI / AMT / Diploma / Graduation / Design degree from NIFT, NID, NIFD, ATDC, or equivalent reputed polytechnic/design institutions in Fashion Design, Fashion Technology, Apparel Making, or allied fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in imparting training in Jute Diversified Products and Fashion Technology Tailoring, embroidery).
• Preference will be given to candidates with proven expertise in practical skill training, product development, and management of a production unit, design studio, training Centre, apparel unit, or product enterprise.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Preference:  Certified Trainer.
• Language Proficiency: Kannada (Mandatory), English, and Hindi.
• The candidate should be stationed at the project location.

Roles & Responsibilities

Trainee Mobilization & Center Management

• Active Mobilization: Take full responsibility for identifying, screening, and mobilizing eligible candidates, with a strong focus on empowering rural and peri-urban women entrepreneurs in Tumkur/Sira/ Ramanagara.
• Willingness to travel locally for trainee mobilization, enterprise handholding, and market-linkage activities
• Facility & Resource Management: Utilize the Design Studio effectively to deliver practical hands-on operational training and production techniques.
• Centre Operations: Monitor, and manage overall centre activities, adhering to legal, statutory, and organizational standards.
• Administration: Control operational expenses within agreed budgetary limits and maintain accurate center records and documentation.

Technical Training & Design Delivery

• Impart high-quality training in Jute Diversified Products , Fashion Technology, Embroidery and Tailoring.
• Train candidates across different product lines
• Incorporate contemporary market trends, quality control, and value-addition techniques into the curriculum.

Post-Training Handholding & Entrepreneurship Support

• Post-Training Mentorship: Provide direct handholding support to beneficiaries            after training completion to help them establish micro enterprises.
• Market & Business Networking: Guide beneficiaries in setting up local units, accessing raw materials, and connecting with market distribution channels

Type of Employment: On a Contractual basis.

Maximum Salary: Rs.32,000/- CTC.
