Job Description

The intern will:

  • Learn about TB elimination strategies and health systems strengthening in urban poor community settings.
  • Understand the design and implementation of large-scale public health interventions.
  • Gain exposure to intersection of corporate engagement strategies and CSR in public health.
  • Understand the process of designing grant proposals and modular funding packages in alignment with government mandates.
  • Develop skills in program coordination, stakeholder engagement, and monitoring & evaluation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support in coordination with field teams and PATH teams to coordinate for activities under the project and help coordinate training logistics for FLHCWs and community volunteers.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of the philanthropic grant offer for corporates.
  • Support and coordinate with the Technical Support Unit (TSU) in needs assessments, geography selection, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Contribute to the design and execution of digital and print communication materials for corporate engagement.
  • Participate in the monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) framework implementation, including data collection, compilation and analysis.
  • Support documentation efforts, including reports, video content and scientific publication preparation.
  • Assist in organizing dissemination events and preparing audit-ready documentation.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

  • Understanding of CSR and corporate philanthropy frameworks in India
  • Program design and implementation in public health.
  • Stakeholder engagement and cross-sector collaboration.
  • Communication and advocacy for health equity.
  • Data analysis and reporting for MEL frameworks.
  • Digital campaign support and volunteer mobilization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Public Health, Social Work, Development Studies, or related fields.
  • Strong interest in TB elimination, urban health, and community-based interventions.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and platforms for health promotion is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
