About the Organization

Enfold was started in 2001 (and registered as a trust in 2002) by Dr Shaibya Saldanha and Dr Sangeeta Saksena in response to the lack of discourse on sexuality, silence and apathy around gender based violence and child sexual abuse in India. They saw the after effects of this in their day to day practice as gynaecologists. They began conducting sessions on gender equity, sexuality and personal safety education in schools (from grade 1 through 12) and colleges with the aim of creating safer spaces and preventing sexual and gender based violence against children and adults.

Job Responsibilities

Fundraising & Donor Engagement

• Identify, research, and build a comprehensive pipeline of potential donors, including corporates (SMEs and large enterprises), international foundations, and multilateral agencies.
• Drive CSR funding opportunities through strategic outreach, relationship management, and compelling proposal development.
• Initiate cold calls, schedule meetings, and present the organization’s vision and impact to prospective partners and funders.
• Craft customized concept notes, proposals, and presentations aligned with donor priorities and expectations.
• Lead funding negotiations and finalize agreements, MoUs, and contracts in collaboration with internal legal and program teams.

Partnership & Stakeholder Management

• Build and nurture long-term relationships with donors, corporate partners, and institutional stakeholders.
• Represent the organization at conferences, sectoral events, and donor forums to build visibility and foster strategic alliances.
• Ensure regular and transparent communication with partners, sharing impact stories, reports, and project updates.

Campaigns & Employee Engagement

• Lead the development and execution of cause-related marketing and employee engagement campaigns in collaboration with external and internal marketing teams.
• Track and analyze donor engagement metrics; ensure timely updates, recognition, and impact reporting to all stakeholders.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

Required:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 2 years specifically in fundraising or corporate partnerships, preferably within the nonprofit or development sector.
• Demonstrated success in independently managing donor relationships and meeting fundraising targets.
• Proven expertise in cold outreach, stakeholder engagement, proposal writing, and contract closure.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English.
• Strong command over Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for presentations, reporting, and data analysis.

Skills and Personal Attributes:

 Essential:

• Self-driven and proactive with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and adherence to deadlines.
• In-depth understanding of CSR regulations, ESG trends, and the corporate philanthropy ecosystem in India.
• Passion for social impact and a deep commitment to child protection and safety.

 Preferred:

• Experience working with non-profits and a passion for social justice.
• Familiarity with fundraising CRMs or donor management systems.
