Job Description

A research assistant position is immediately available in a project pertaining to the Operations and Decision Sciences (O&DS) area at IIM Ahmedabad. Responsibilities of the research assistant include carrying out research on real-world business problems using data science algorithms and analytical methods. Research work includes identifying the right algorithm or a combination of algorithms to solve the business problem and model implementation using Matlab/ R/ Python.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Applicants should have an graduate degree in engineering/operations research/ management science/applied mathematics/ economics/ econometrics, or other-related fields (from Tier-I institutions only) with a strong exposure to programming before the appointment begins. Further, strong written and oral communication skills are a must.
