Senior Programme Manager - Resource Mobilization & CSR Connect

BAIF (www.baif.org.in) is a leading group of organizations working in the development sector with a focus on  the projects of rural development. It is spread across more than 17 states in India. It collaborates with many  large international foundations, various state governments and central government. It is also a preferred choice  of many large Indian and multinational corporates for conceptualizing and implementing their CSR strategy  and projects.

Job title: Senior Programme Manager - Resource Mobilization & CSR Connect 

About the role:

As a Senior Programme Manager – Resource Mobilization and CSR Connect, you will be a vital part of BAIF’s Executive Cadre, driving strategic partnerships, securing CSR funding and facilitating impactful  development initiatives. This role demands a dynamic professional with experience in fundraising, donor  engagement, project development and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Resource Mobilization and Partnership Building

• Identify and pursue CSR and philanthropic funding opportunities (National / International) • Develop and manage relationships with corporate and institutional donors
• Create tailored proposals aligning donor priorities with BAIF’s thematic areas

2. Proposal Development and Grant Management

• Prepare proposals, budgets and reports meeting CSR compliance norms
• Coordinate with field and technical teams to co-develop sustainable project models 
• Track grant timelines, ensure high-quality submissions and maintain documentation

3. Programme Coordination and Implementation Support

• Support CSR-funded projects to ensure timely and impactful implementation
• Facilitate field visits, donor meetings and stakeholder briefings
• Monitor deliverables, budgets and quality standards

4. CSR Communication and Promotion

• Develop impactful communication materials – brochures, videos and donor kits
• Share success stories, impact reports and field updates with stakeholders
• Manage visibility and branding as per CSR and BAIF standards

5. CSR MIS and Project Monitoring

• Maintain a robust CSR Management Information System for tracking funding and deliverables 
• Document milestones and key performance indicators across CSR projects

6. Capacity Building and Networking

• Organize internal trainings on CSR norms and proposal writing
• Represent BAIF at CSR forums, conferences and donor meets

Educational Qualification: 

• Masters in Social Work, Rural Development, Business Administration, Rural Management,  Agriculture, Environmental science or related fields.
• Educational qualifications may be relaxed in case of candidate having relevant experience and  expertise

Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in CSR fundraising, donor management, or project  management within development organizations or corporate CSR teams

Skills:

• Excellent proposal writing and donor communication
• Strong coordination, presentation and negotiation abilities
• Familiarity with CSR laws, ESG principles and impact reporting

Location : Warje, Pune - Maharashtra (with readiness to travel across various states based on project  needs)

Reporting to: Programme Head, Pune

Salary: As per experience & expertise of the candidate
