Job Description
To design, implement, and govern a high-impact, multi-lingual communication strategy focused on citizen engagement, public trust-building, and scheme adoption across 36 districts. This role drives the public interface and success metrics of the CMGSCAC network.
Job Responsibilities
- Public Outreach Strategy: Lead the development of the 5-year state-wide communication plan, incorporating regional dialects and local cultural sensitivities for maximum penetration and measured impact.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary liaison for all communication matters between the CMGSCAC, the CMO's communications wing, Directorate General of Information and Public Relations (DGIPR), and external media.
- Content and Campaign Governance: Oversee the creation and deployment of high-quality, standardized content across all digital, print, and social media channels, ensuring consistent messaging and brand integrity.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish key metrics (KPIs) for campaign reach and conversion (scheme adoption) and provide regular performance analysis to the Central Core Team.
- Field Capacity Building: Develop comprehensive communication toolkits and training modules to equip District Coordinators and SEOs for effective local scheme promotion and citizen facilitation.
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- Education: Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 to 8 years of overall progressive experience in strategic communication or public affairs, including at least 3 years in a specialized role managing large-scale, multi-channel public awareness campaigns.
- Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in multi-lingual content strategy (Marathi and English mandatory), crisis communication management, and deep understanding of government public relations protocols.
