About the Organization

The long-term vision of the Department is to make India a major player in the world trade by 2020 and assume a role of leadership in the international trade organizations commensurate with India’s growing importance. The medium term vision is to double India’s exports of goods and services by 2017-18 over the level of 2008-09 with a long-term objective of doubling India’s share in Global trade.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum essential Qualification: - Master's degree in Economics (PG Eco) or Law (LLM) or Management (MBA/PGDM) or Engineering (M.Tech) or Commerce (М. Com) or Candidates having qualification of CA/ICWA/CS.
• Age Limit: Below 32 years of age as on 1st July, 2025.

Experience: -

• Minimum one year post qualification experienceе.
• Experience upto 3 year for Ph.D. holder will also be considered, provided no other work experience counted during those three years.
• Work experience after completion of minimum essential qualification against which the candidate is applying will be counted as effective experience.
• Work experience earned prior to completion of minimum essential qualification will not be counted.

Salary

Rs.70,000/- per month

 

 

• Interested and eligible candidates can apply through online mode only on the website of DPIIT i.e. https://dpiit.gov.in/. A candidate can apply only for any one ofthe categories of Young Professional mentioned above.
• The Department reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason for it and also revise Terms and Conditions of engagement of YPs.
• If any dispute arises during the selection process or afterwards the decision of the Department will be final.
• Last date for submission of the application is 08th September, 2025 till 05:30 PM only.
• Candidates are advised in their own interest to apply online much before the closing date and not wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of technical glitches to log on etc.
