About the Organization

The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) was established in 1936 as the Sir Dorabji Tata Graduate School of Social Work. In 1944, it was renamed as the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. The year 1964 was an important landmark in the history of the Institute, when it was declared Deemed to be a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act (UGC), 1956.

Job Description/Responsibilities

The Programme Officer will report directly to the Programme Coordinator and plan and execute all programmatic activities of the project.

• Planning and implementing all program activities including on- & off-field training programs and administrative tasks in coordination with the Programme Coordinator
• Facilitating training sessions
• Developing programme material and resources
• Documenting all programme activities including programme plans, progress reports
• Any other work as assigned by Supervisor(s)

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Have completed a Master’s degree in Psychology with a minimum 1 year experience
• Possess good writing, communication and presentation skills in English
• Have proficiency in the use of computers for the purpose of documentation, data analysis and use of virtual platforms for training

Preferred experience

• Working with schools/adolescent mental health initiatives
• Research/field action projects
• Research analysis and writing

Salary

Rs.25,000/- per month
