Job Position
Project Associate – CSR and Livelihood Programs
Location: Surgana, Nashik, Maharashtra
CTC: ₹3 LPA – ₹5 LPA (Depending on the relevant experience)
Position Overview
BharatCares is looking for a Project Associate – CSR & Livelihood Programs to support the implementation of CSR and livelihood initiatives in Surgana, Nashik.
The role will involve extensive field engagement with communities, beneficiaries, local stakeholders, government departments, community institutions, and implementation partners. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in rural development and be comfortable working in field-based and rural environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Program Implementation
- Support day-to-day implementation of CSR and livelihood programs at the field level.
- Coordinate activities related to livelihood enhancement, skill development, agriculture, entrepreneurship, and community development.
- Conduct regular field visits and ensure activities are implemented as per project plans and timelines.
- Mobilize and engage beneficiaries for various program activities.
- Support training, workshops, awareness activities, and community meetings.
2. Community Engagement
- Build strong relationships with beneficiaries, community members, SHGs, FPOs, farmers, youth, and other community institutions.
- Understand community needs and communicate program objectives effectively.
- Facilitate community meetings and beneficiary consultations.
- Support identification and onboarding of eligible beneficiaries.
3. Livelihood & Skill Development
- Support livelihood activities such as agriculture-based livelihoods, entrepreneurship, income-generation activities, and skill development.
- Coordinate with trainers, technical experts, local institutions, and implementation partners.
- Track beneficiary participation, progress, and outcomes.
- Support market linkages and convergence opportunities wherever applicable.
4. Government & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with local government departments, Gram Panchayats, schools, community organizations, NGOs, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Support convergence with relevant government schemes and programs.
- Maintain effective relationships with local stakeholders to facilitate smooth project implementation.
5. Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain beneficiary records, attendance, activity trackers, and field-level documentation.
- Collect and verify program data from the field.
- Prepare regular field reports, activity updates, case studies, and success stories.
- Ensure timely submission of MIS and project-related documentation.
- Support monitoring and evaluation activities.
6. Field Monitoring
- Regularly monitor project activities and identify implementation challenges.
- Escalate issues to the Project Manager/Program team and support corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to project quality standards and CSR partner requirements.
- Document field learnings, challenges, and success stories.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Development Studies, Agriculture, Sociology, Community Development, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in CSR, NGO, rural development, livelihood programs, community mobilization, or social-sector projects.
- Experience working with rural communities, SHGs, farmers, FPOs, youth, or community institutions will be preferred.
- Good understanding of field-level program implementation and community engagement.
- Fluency in Marathi is mandatory.
- Good communication skills in Hindi and English will be an advantage.
- Willingness to work extensively in rural/field locations and travel within the project geography.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Google Workspace, and MIS reporting.

The candidate should be comfortable working closely with communities and local stakeholders and managing the practical realities of field implementation.
Location & Travel
Location: Surgana, Nashik, Maharashtra
Travel: Extensive travel within project villages and nearby locations will be required.
