About the Organization
The Global Good Fund is a nonprofit social enterprise built by social entrepreneurs for social entrepreneurs. We identify leaders who stand to achieve greater social impact with executive mentorship, professional leadership coaching and capital. We believe growing leaders is the most effective strategy for solving complex social problems and achieving global good.
Our vision: Every person should have access to the health care they need, enough money to pay their bills, education for their children, clean water to drink, air to breathe and the ability to participate in the global economy. We know this world exists when social entrepreneurs are empowered to lead and have the tools they need to make their vision reality.
We invest in entrepreneurs focused on solving five key social issues related to sustainable changes in education, healthcare, the environment, financial services and the economy. Built by social entrepreneurs for social entrepreneurs, we identify high-potential leaders and accelerate their success through proven, proprietary development methods. We believe growing leaders is the best strategy for solving complex social problems and achieving global good.
About the Fellowship
This fellowship is designed for social entrepreneurs who are creating social impact within their communities and are ready to scale their leadership to further develop their enterprises.
The Global Good Fund Fellowship is a 12-month hybrid leadership program for social entrepreneurs around the world. We accelerate leaders who relentlessly tackle the most pressing social issues to create a more sustainable and just future for all. Each leader receives professional executive coaching, c-suite business mentorship, $10,000 to spend exclusively on their leadership development, customized tools, resources, training and networking opportunities to scale their social impact.
Each Fellow is paired up with [1] dedicated professional executive coach and [1] dedicated c-suite executive who serves as a business mentor. Over a 12 month period Fellows connect with their executive coach and business mentor via phone/Skype/WhatsApp.
Fellowship elements:
We take a holistic approach to create change by building resilient, competent and successful leaders through our hybrid Fellowship. Our Fellows raise 3x the capital in service of social change because of the opportunities afforded by our program.
- 360° Assessment: Fellows take GGF’s proprietary leadership assessment and gain a panoramic view of their leadership skills.
- Executive Coaching (Virtual): Fellows use the results of the 360 assessment as a starting point to work with their executive coach and create a personalized Leadership Development Plan.
- Business Mentorship (Virtual): Fellows are matched with a C-suite business executive, who serves as a mentor, and receives intensive 1:1 support to help them successfully grow their business.
- Annual Summit (in-person): Fellows participate in an Annual Global Good Fund Summit each spring. Our summit is a 4-day curated leadership development experience that combines training, networking and bonding among Fellows, alumni and valued members of the GGF ecosystem.
- Targeted Funds: Fellows receive a $10,000 grant to explicitly be used on their leadership development.
- Peer and Subject Matter Expert Network: Over the course of 12 months, Fellows are part of a global cohort of leaders positively impacting the world. GGF facilitates intentional opportunities for Fellows and alumni to engage and learn from each other as well as a variety of industry experts so that they can be best equipped to address complex challenges.
