Purpose of the RFP:

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to invite non-profit organisations with a proven track record in rural education and infrastructure to implement a Rural School Transformation project. This initiative, aligned with FAI’s CSR commitments for FY 2025-2026, seeks to improve the quality of education in rural areas by upgrading school infrastructure, enhancing access to clean drinking water and sanitation, creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for children. The project aims to foster long-term community development by strengthening educational foundations and supporting holistic child development and build capacities that promote hygiene, safety, and sustainable use of under-resourced rural schools.

• Project Duration: FY 2025 to FY 2026
• Budget Outlay: ₹50 Lakhs
• Target Cohort: Students and Teachers

Eligibility Criteria:

Only non-profit entities are eligible to apply. Applicants must:

• Be registered on the CSR-1 portal with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs
• Possess valid 12A, 80G, and FCRA certifications
• Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant implementation experience, especially in rural education and  infrastructure
• Have an average funding of the past 3 years equal to or exceeding 5 times the proposed project budget
• Not be affiliated with any political or religious group
• Have no ongoing litigations/past conviction records
• Proposals from individual or Pvt. Ltd organisations are not eligible

Important Notes:

• Submission of a proposal does not guarantee a callback or selection
• No CSR funds may be allocated for FAI employee participation costs
