About the Organization

Gurgaon Municipal Corporation is the civic body governing the Indian city of Gurgaon. The Municipal Corporation mechanism in India was introduced during British Rule with the formation of the Municipal Corporation in Madras (Chennai) in 1688, later followed by municipal corporations in Bombay (Mumbai) and Calcutta (Kolkata) by 1762.[2] Gurgaon Municipal Corporation is headed by the Mayor of the city and governed by the Commissioner.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• MBBS recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI) with MD (PSM/Community Medicine)/ MD (CHM/ MD (Tropical Medicine) recognized by MCI or DNB (Social and Preventive Medicine/ Community Medicine);

                                        OR

• MBBS recognized by MCI with EIS Training Course Certificate.

                                       OR

• B.Sc.in Life Sciences(Nursing/Biology/Microbiology/Developmental Biology & Physiology)/ BDS/BPT With (a) Masters of Public Health(MPH- Epidemiology) / Diploma in Public Health (DPH- Epidemiology)OR (b) Master in Applied Epidemiology (MAE) from recognized University of India along with two years of experience in Public Health after acquiring mentioned post graduate qualifications; OR (c) PhD in Clinical Sciences/Medical Sc./Preventive Medicine/Human Physiology/Pathophysiology/ Epidemiology.

Experience required:

 0-3 years of field experience after obtaining essential qualification in implementing Public Health Programmes/ Interventions with a focus on communicable diseases.

Salary

• Rs.75,000/- For MBBS with MD/DNB)
• Rs.70,000/- (For MBBS With EIS training Course certificate)
• Rs.65,000/- (For B.Sc.in Life Sciences)
