About the Organization

BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) is an Institute of the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council, Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India. The institute is an integral part of the interdisciplinary NCR Biotech Science Cluster located at Faridabad, with the mission to conduct innovative translational research and to develop research collaborations across disciplines and professions to translate concepts into products to improve human health.

Job Description

• Will be responsible for overall administration of Ind-CEPI activities at THSTI. This will involve coordinating the construction and usage of shared infrastructure facilities at THSTI, leading regional networking and capacity building with LMIC’s and CEPI support from the Project Management Unit in oversight of the RFPs selected for funding etc.
• To oversee the regulatory aspects of the early-stage vaccine development which will be conducted in collaborations with THSTI partners.
• To provide support for pre-clinical testing and clinical assay development.
• Responsible for setting up high end GMP, CHIM, Clinical Pharmacology and other facilities at MRC.
• To supervise and ensure the quality and standards of the work being undertaken in high end facilities viz. Bioassay lab and Vaccine Design and Development Centre (VDDC).
• Any other functions as advised by the Executive Director.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• M.D./Ph.D. from a recognized university with atleast 20 years of post-qualification experience in relevant field.
