About the Organization
Established in 2007, the National Health Systems Resource Centre, a premier Think Tank for MoHFW, is mandated to assist in policy and strategy development in the provision and mobilization of technical assistance to the states and in capacity building for the Ministry of Health.
Job Responsibilities
Expected roles of the incumbent are summarized below –
- Support the states with implementation of National Quality Assurance Standards and other endeavours (LaQshya, MusQan, Kayakalp and Patient Safety Tools) for improving the Quality of Care at Public Health Facilities.
- The incumbent would be travelling to States and districts and impart QA trainings and mentoring visits. Thus, the candidate should possess skills for imparting trainings, including excellent command over language (Hindi & English) – spoken & written both.
- Review the contemporary literature and programme guidelines and examine the existing measurement system (ME & checkpoints) under the NQAS, LaQshya, MusQan, Kayakalp and Patient Safety Tool.
- Support the division in drafting of other quality guidelines and implementation of resource material.
- Should be able guide the state on updated evidence -based practices and latest GOI initiatives & guidelines
- sAnalysis of key performance indicators, outcome indicators and plan further to strengthen the gaps observed during the analysis.
- May be deputed to work in the Certification unit, NHSRC
- Any other task, as per need of the Quality and Patient Safety Division
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
For achieving above-mentioned deliverables, the applicant is expected to possess following qualifications & Experience –
Essential Qualification –
- MBBS/Dental/AYUSH degree from recognized institute with Two years’ full-time Post graduate degree/ Diploma in Hospital Management/ Public Heath from a reputed institute.
- 1 years post-qualification experience.
- At least One years’ experience of implementing National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) at the National /State level.
- Excellent communication skill – writing and verbal e. Proficiency in Knowledge of MS Office and data analytics packages.
Desirable:
- Preference may be given to those applicants who have directly worked on the assignments, resulting into certification/accreditation of hospitals to a recognized quality system such as NQAS, LaQshya, ISO 9001/ NABH/ JCI/ NABL. etc
- Certified Internal/External NQAS/NABH/NABL Assessors c. Recognised Qualification in a Quality System, which may be waived off in case of deserving
Salary
Between Rs. 40,000/- to Rs. 70,000/-
