MBMA is a not-for-profit company incorporated under the Planning Department of the Government of Meghalaya, engaged in the implementation of specialized development projects focused on enhancement of natural resource management, access to finance, livelihood development, enterprise promotion, market linkage, and knowledge services.

Job Description

To provide overall project coordination support for the Health Department implementation and coordination based out of Shillong, Meghalaya.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Master’s degree in Public Health, Psychology, Social Work (Medical & Psychiatry), Development Studies with a health specialization, or a related field. (Doctorate preferred)

Required Experiences:

• Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in public health program design and implementation, with at least 2 years focused in adolescent health, mental health, or SRH-related roles.
• Proven ability to lead inter-sectoral projects and engage with government systems, NGOs, and healthcare professionals.

Skills & Attributes:

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Expertise in adolescent health issues, including mental health and SRH.
• Proficiency in program monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
• Excellent communication, advocacy, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive topics with cultural sensitivity and confidentiality
