Job Description
The National Law University Delhi (NLUD) invites applications for the post of a full-time Researcher for a project related to “New Criminal Laws”. The position is initially for a period of three months (extendable up to six months, depending on the requirement).
Job Responsibilities
Researchers will be expected to assist in the research work in the relevant area in consultation with the Project coordinator. The responsibilities of the Researcher include-
- Content review for legal accuracy including reviewing and providing inputs on use of correct legal terminology, language, citations, references etc.;
- Any other research work.
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Law graduate (LL.B. or B.A.LL.B.); updated knowledge of substantive and procedural criminal law; efficiency in legal content review;
- Proficiency in English; - Skilled in MS Office applications;
Desirable:
- LL.M./ Ph.D. degree in law; prior work experience; work on New Criminal Laws.
Salary
Approximately ₹ 50,000 per month (Consolidated).
