Job Responsibilities

• Manage the IGGSP cluster in West Bengal.
• Support and provide technical advice to the state government and facilitate private sector organizations and chambers to jointly support the implementation of gender equal green skilling programs in the state.
• Support the stakeholders by providing technical guidance, advisory services and technical GG2/VET expertise to improve framework conditions for women and marginalized groups in the state.
• Support the stakeholders by providing technical advisory in the field of mobility of workforce nationally and internationally by adapting training programs according to the industrial needs in India and abroach (e.g. Germany).
• Identify and elaborate opportunities for incorporating workplace-based GG2/VET approaches in existing institutions, processes, and structures as well as facilitating dialogue that feeds into policy recommendations for the central and state level government.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in social science, economics, management and any other related field.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in the field of 10 years of professional experience in TVET/green skills. Experience in the field of Inclusivity (Gender, marginalized Groups) as well as mobility (National and International) of skilled workforce are of benefit.
• Professional experience in the field of employment promotion and skilling and cooperating with the private sector.
• Professional experience in cooperating with skilling Government authorities as well as profound experience in cooperation with the private sector at national and states level (especially West Bengal).
• Very good digital competencies (MS Office: MS Teams, Power Point etc.).
• Excellent Hindi, Bengali and English language skills / German language skills are of benefit
• Advising, empathy, communication, cooperation and methodological skills.
• Commitment, team spirit, reliability, gender competence and intercultural understanding.
• Very good organizational and networking skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Counselling skills.
