Job Responsibilities

• MIS Portal Management: Managing the MIS portal for Swachh Survekshan, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance with SBM guidelines.
• ICT Integration and Innovation: Guide Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) in integrating ICT for SWM process management, including tracking daily operations and enhancing citizen engagement through digital platforms.
• Customized Waste Management Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive plans for efficient door-to-door waste collection, including segregation, transportation, and processing.
• SWM Monitoring: Oversee and monitor all SWM activities, ensuring regular reporting of gaps and inefficiencies to the Municipal Commissioner.
• Municipal Solid Waste Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of MSW, analyze current waste management scenarios, and predict future trends.
• Resource Management: Plan for the utilization of inert materials like C&D waste and develop strategies to reduce expenses while maintaining service quality.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish performance parameters, targets, and reporting systems for daily waste management operations.
• Waste Generator Management: Identify and guide RWAs and BWGs in setting up decentralized processing units for on-site waste management.
• Litter Management: Identify locations for litter bin installation, monitor usage, and ensure timely waste collection.
• Public Toilets and Community Facilities: Monitor the cleaning and maintenance of Community and Public Toilets under SBM guidelines.
• Sanitation Staff Training: Conduct regular training programs for sanitation staff on professional cleaning techniques and health safety.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering/ Environmental Science / Environmental Management/ Public Health/ Urban Planning or a related/equivalent field
• Experience Required Minimum 3 years in SBM/Waste Management or a similar field
• Language Proficiency in Telugu and English is mandatory.

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of waste management processes and regulations
• Experience in ICT integration for SWM
• Ability to analyse and develop comprehensive waste management plans
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proficiency in managing and reporting SWM activities
