WE Hub Foundation, an initiative of the Government of Telangana under the I.T E&C Department, is India’s first state-led incubator dedicated to fostering and promoting women entrepreneurship. Since its inception in 2018, WE Hub has been actively working to provide women entrepreneurs with access to technical, financial, and policy support, helping them scale their ventures with global market access. We collaborate with government agencies, corporates, industries, academia, and international agencies to support women across socio-economic strata.
Job Description
The Project Coordinator will play a key role in the successful execution of the Women-led MSMEs Acceleration Program at the district level across Telangana. This role requires strong coordination skills, in-depth knowledge of the local socio-economic landscape, and the ability to manage training, workshops, and other interventions aimed at empowering women MSME entrepreneurs. The Coordinator will oversee program implementation, stakeholder management, and ensure effective communication and reporting of the program’s progress.
The position involves regular travel to various districts and to WE Hub Headquarters, working closely with mentors, service providers, and local government bodies to ensure the successful execution of product development, marketing, branding, and business support interventions. The Project Coordinator will report to the Project Manager of WE Hub Foundation.
Job Responsibilities
Field Implementation & Coordination:
- Manage day-to-day field activities for the Women-led MSMEs Acceleration Program across assigned districts.
- Coordinate with women MSMEs to understand their needs, challenges, and provide relevant interventions.
- Facilitate regular workshops, training programs, and awareness sessions aimed at enhancing business skills, marketing, branding, and product development for women entrepreneurs.
Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with district-level government bodies, such as SERP, MEPMA, DIC, and local community leaders.
- Work closely with service providers, mentors, and local institutions to ensure comprehensive support for women entrepreneurs.
- Foster local partnerships to improve program impact and outcomes.
Training & Capacity Building:
- Organize and coordinate training sessions, workshops, and one-on-one mentoring for women-led MSMEs.
- Identify the specific needs of women entrepreneurs and provide tailored support to enhance their business skills, market access, and financial literacy.
- Ensure the effective implementation of product development, marketing, and branding interventions for MSMEs.
Data Collection, Reporting & Communication:
- Conduct regular visits to MSME units, collect field data, and document challenges, successes, and impact stories.
- Prepare detailed progress reports for the Project Manager, highlighting field activities, stakeholder engagement, and key performance metrics.
- Ensure effective communication with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
Project Monitoring & Evaluation:
- Support the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) team in tracking the progress and impact of the program, gathering feedback, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Provide on-the-ground insights to inform decisions on scaling the program.
Documentation & Coordination:
- Maintain accurate documentation of program activities, including reports, training materials, and workshop outputs.
- Ensure proper coordination between mentors, service providers, and program participants to deliver the planned interventions effectively.
Travel & On-Ground Support:
- Regular travel to various districts for program execution, stakeholder engagement, and monitoring of field activities.
- Frequent travel to WE Hub’s headquarters for team meetings, project updates, and coordination.
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Social Work, Development Studies, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in social impact, entrepreneurship, MSME-related fields, SHG, skill development, or women’s empowerment initiatives. Preference will be given to those with prior experience in project coordination and field-based roles.
- Language Skills: Fluency in Telugu and English is essential. Knowledge of Hindi is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, Data collection/analysis, documentation, and basic financial literacy.

- Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet project deadlines.
- Problem-solving: Proactive approach to addressing challenges in project implementation and stakeholder coordination.
- Adaptability: Comfortable with frequent travel across districts and adapting to changing field conditions and project demands.
- Team Player: Collaborative attitude with the ability to work across teams and coordinate effectively with leadership.
