WE Hub Foundation, an initiative of the Government of Telangana under the I.T E&C Department, is India’s first state-led incubator dedicated to fostering and promoting women entrepreneurship. Since its inception in 2018, WE Hub has been actively working to provide women entrepreneurs with access to technical, financial, and policy support, helping them scale their ventures with global market access. We collaborate with government agencies, corporates, industries, academia, and international agencies to support women across socio-economic strata.
Job Description
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of the Women-led MSMEs Acceleration Program across Telangana. This leadership role requires strategic oversight of the program’s field implementation, stakeholder management, and coordination with mentors, service providers, and government agencies. The Project Manager will ensure that the program is delivering on its goals to empower women MSMEs, enhancing their business capacity, market access, and overall sustainability. The position involves frequent travel across districts and coordination with the team at WE Hub Headquarters.
The Project Manager will report directly to senior leadership at WE Hub and will manage a team of Project Coordinators and field staff to ensure the program’s smooth execution.
Job Responsibilities
Program Management & Oversight:
- Lead the Women-led MSMEs Acceleration Program across multiple districts in Telangana, ensuring all activities are implemented as per the project plan.
- Oversee the coordination of day-to-day operations, ensuring the effective execution of activities such as training, workshops, and mentoring for women entrepreneurs.
- Monitor the progress of the program, ensuring that objectives are met, and project timelines are adhered to.
Stakeholder Management & Partnerships:
- Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders including district-level government bodies (SERP, MEPMA, DIC), local institutions, NGOs, mentors, and service providers.
- Foster collaborations with local and national partners to create synergies and ensure comprehensive support for women entrepreneurs.
- Lead stakeholder meetings and ensure ongoing communication with all relevant parties.
Team Management & Coordination:
- Supervise the team of Project Coordinators and other field staff, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and timely delivery of tasks.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to the team in managing day-to-day operations, resolving issues, and ensuring alignment with program goals.
- Ensure team members have the resources, tools, and training needed to execute their tasks effectively.
Training & Capacity Building:
- Ensure the effective execution of training programs, workshops, and mentoring sessions aimed at enhancing women entrepreneurs’ business skills, financial literacy, marketing, branding, and product development.
- Identify capacity-building needs and collaborate with experts to deliver specialized support to MSMEs.
Monitoring, Reporting & Data Analysis:
- Develop and implement mechanisms to track program outcomes, evaluate impact, and provide real-time feedback to stakeholders.
- Ensure timely collection of field data, success stories, and challenges, and incorporate findings into the program’s reporting.
- Prepare regular progress reports for senior leadership, detailing field activities, outreach, stakeholder engagement, and key performance metrics.
- Use data insights to adjust program strategies and improve performance.
Financial Oversight & Budget Management:
- Oversee the program budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and expenses are in line with financial plans.
- Track and manage costs, ensuring financial transparency and accountability across all activities.
Strategic Direction & Innovation:
- Continuously assess the needs of women MSMEs and recommend interventions that can improve the program’s effectiveness and outcomes.
- Develop and implement strategies to scale the program, ensuring sustainability and growth.
- Identify new funding or partnership opportunities to further the goals of the program.
Travel & On-Ground Support:
- Regular travel to various districts for program execution, stakeholder engagement, and monitoring of field activities.
- Frequent travel to WE Hub’s headquarters for team meetings, strategy discussions, and coordination with senior leadership.
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Work, Development Studies, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: 4-6 years of experience in project management, social impact, entrepreneurship, MSME-related fields, SHG, skill development, or women’s empowerment initiatives. Experience in managing field-based programs and leading cross-functional teams is essential.
- Language Skills: Fluency in Telugu and English is essential. Knowledge of Hindi is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, project management tools, data collection/analysis, reporting, and basic financial literacy.

- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and engage diverse audiences.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple tasks and ensure timely execution of project activities.
- Problem-solving: Proactive and solution-oriented approach to overcoming challenges in project implementation.
- Adaptability: Comfortable with frequent travel across districts and ability to adjust to changing project conditions and demands.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Financial Management: Experience in budget management and ensuring financial accountability across project activities.
