About the Organization

Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (India) is a non-denominational, non-government development organization. AKRSP(I) works as a catalyst for the betterment of rural communities by providing direct support to local communities. AKRSP(I) is active in over 3255 villages of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Maharashtra. It has impacted lives of over 3.5 million people from marginalised sections of society. Over 80% of the households impacted by AKRSP(I)'s work belong to marginalised communities like tribals, dalits, and minorities. Over 60% of beneficiaries are women who form a core group for program interventions.

Job Description

Design, development, implementation and overall management of projects focused on the skills development and placement of youths.

  • Design and update IT/ITeS job-role-based curriculum aligned with industry needs and future skills.
  • Strategic planning to align the programme with industry needs and on-demand digital skills.
  • Networking and partnership building with key stakeholders for successful implementation of the project.
  • Conduct Train-the-Trainer (ToT) sessions and ensure quality delivery.
  • Integrate employability and digital skills into training programs.
  • Build and maintain employer partnerships for placement opportunities.
  • Monitor training quality, learner progress, and placement outcomes.
  • Prepare reports and ensure compliance with program guidelines.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

  • Graduation/Postgraduation/ Engineering in computer science, IT with sound knowledge and hands on experience in trades like data analytics, advance excel, Power Bi, Artificial intelligence etc.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in development design and management of youth skills and placement programmes with focus on future skills particularly IT/ITeS domain.
