Job Summary

The Program Manager – MNCAH will provide operational, technical, and coordination support to strengthen maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health initiatives across intervention areas. The role involves supporting field and state teams in program implementation, data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and documentation of learnings. The Program Manager will also contribute to the development of knowledge products, training materials, and technical briefs, ensuring smooth communication and alignment across teams and partners.

Key Responsibilities

1. Program Implementation & Field Support

  • Provide operational support to MNCAH initiatives in intervention States including direct assistance to field teams and the operation teams.
  • Support day-to-day program coordination and ensure timely follow-ups with stakeholders.
  • Conduct periodic field visits to track progress and capture insights.

2. Data & Knowledge Management

  • Compile, clean, and conduct basic analysis of data from HMIS, NFHS, and programmatic sources.
  • Prepare periodic progress reports, presentations, and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Document field insights, case studies, and best practices for wider dissemination.

3. Stakeholder Coordination

  • Coordinate with SHSB units and other government counterparts to ensure alignment and timely communication.
  • Support CoE–MNCAH in managing correspondence and follow-ups, especially during the absence of senior team members.
  • Facilitate collaboration between field teams, state units, and partners.

4. Capacity Building & Knowledge Products

  • Draft training materials, technical briefs, product guidelines, and presentations.
  • Support translation of materials (English–Hindi) where required.
  • Organize logistics and co-facilitate training sessions for field staff and government stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Postgraduate degree in Public Health/Development Studies/Health Administration, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in MNCAH or health systems strengthening.
  • Strong coordination, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with comfort in handling data and field insights.
  • Strong writing and communication skills in English and Hindi.
  • Willingness to travel to field locations as per project needs.
