About the Organization
The Habitats Trust has a special focus on the conservation of lesser-known species and habitats that are threatened, but often neglected and are in urgent need of conservation attention. From working on the conservation of the Indian Pangolin – the world's most trafficked mammal, saving the Great Indian Bustard with fewer than 150 individuals surviving in the wild, or restoring coral reef ecosystems of which approximately 75% are threatened by human activity today, The Habitats Trust has been at the forefront of generating conservation action for these seldom highlighted causes.
Job Description
Are you a Branding & Marketing Professional brimming with ingenuity, someone who thinks differently and is driven by a deep commitment to conservation, wildlife, or making a real social impact?
We are positioned in just the right place for you to build this into an impactful brand with your marketing strategies, for our diverse audience – THT is young, has a clear vision, is currently crafting the brand communication and identity, is led by visionary founders and leadership, and could be one of the most inspiring invitations for a Branding & Marketing Head to lead the brand journey.
We are therefore looking for a dynamic Brand & Marketing Head (Full-time, Noida/Delhi) to lead our global brand presence. This isn't just about marketing; it's about becoming the custodian of the THT brand, amplifying our voice and vision, and inspiring local and global action towards a regenerative future. We need someone who sees the bigger picture – someone with the drive to deliver exceptional results, potentially build a larger team, set milestones and deliver them within available resources of time and funds.
Job Responsibilities
- Amplify Our Story: Build the Brand ethos within and without, ensuring the created THT Brand Communication is amplified in a compelling and consistent manner, everywhere.
- Lead Strategically: Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies – covering brand building, digital outreach, content, PR, and engaging our crucial stakeholders and partners.
- Ignite Global Campaigns: Create and run high-impact campaigns that boost awareness and inspire people worldwide to understand our vision and actively participate as needed in different capacities.
- Drive Digital Innovation: Keep us ahead in the digital space, using new technologies to connect and engage more effectively.
- Craft Compelling Narratives: Oversee impactful content creation that showcases our work and inspires action, based on the audience, the purpose, and the intention behind the action.

- Build Relationships: Nurture strong connections with key partners, donors, agencies, and conservation leaders.
- Measure & Optimise: Track our performance, analyse what works, and continuously improve our strategies. Keep ears to the ground for short feedback loops, and work towards staying updated
- Manage Resources Wisely: Handle the marketing budget effectively, ensuring we get the most impact from our resources.
- Team Building & Leadership: To be able to build a team, whose roles and responsibilities, deliverables, goals, and manner of working is aligned to the larger THT Brand ethos and culture
- Creating Information Flow: Creating and building systems that allow for recording, and organising of each program and project’s brand and marketing relation information (words, visual, films, interactions, media coverage) in a way that it can be accessed and used with effectiveness and efficiency.
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- At least 8-10 years in senior marketing roles, ideally with significant time spent in the social impact or conservation space, or has a great ability to translate first principles across disciplines and bring alive what is needed for this sector.
- Proven ability to transform brands and lead successful, integrated campaigns.
- Sharp strategic thinking and the knack for turning complex ideas into clear, powerful messages.
- A solid grasp of the digital world and how to leverage it.
- Relevant Master's degree (Marketing, Communications, Business, etc.).
- Experience with international organisations or media/PR networks would be a plus.
