About the Organization

The broad objective of the National Centre for Disease Informatics and Research (NCDIR), Bengaluru, are to sustain and develop a national research data-base on cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases (CVD), and stroke through recent advances in electronic information technology with a national collaborative network, so as to undertake aetiological, epidemiological, clinical and control research in these areas. The primary focus of centre includes established nationwide data-base for cancer through the National Cancer Registry Programme and the Cancer Atlas Project. The secondary focus is to facilitate and coordinate research activities by collaborating centres towards epidemiological and clinical studies in diabetes, CVD and stroke.

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate needs to

• Edit raw video footage, screen recordings and audio tracks to create professional educational content.
• Ideate new and engaging social, digital content with the use of animation, infographics, logos and brochures.
• Be up-to-date with emerging design trends and software tools, industry trends and technological innovation in both creating and viewing of content.
• Have creative vision to disseminate complex scientific information.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

Essential Educational Qualification

• Graduate in Computer Application/Information Technology, Computer Graphics/Computer Science/Artificial Intelligence/Operating Systems/Software Engineering from a recognized University with at least 55 % of marks.

Desirable Qualification & Experience

• Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDraw, Microsoft Power Point, HTML and CSS.
• Graphic design/video production degree or relevant experience.
• Proficient in video editing software, format videos for distribution across platforms.
• Expertise in creating video/content for social media platforms.
• Expertise in developing Dashboards, infographics, layouts, graphs for scientific communication.
• Conceive and produce visual stories.
• Create animated videos.
• Record and photograph events.
• Work with health researchers to create e-books, white papers and infographics.
• Assist creating study materials, support materials, social media Posts
• Certificate course in graphic designing/multimedia/mass communication or relevant fields.

Salary

Rs. 30,000/- per month (All inclusive).
