About the Proposal

UN Women is looking to engage services of a vendor are required for printing of listed collaterals for “Ensuring Health, Wellness, Safety of Women Workers in Supply Chains Forum: 2025” event to be held on 21 and 22 August 2025.

Background:

UN Women is the UN Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women. UN Women, grounded in the vision of equality enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations, works for the elimination of discrimination against women and girls; the empowerment of women; and the achievement of equality between women and men as partners and beneficiaries of development, human rights, humanitarian action and peace and security.

As the UN agency with the mandate to work on gender equality, UN Women is responsible for leading and coordinating United Nations system efforts to ensure that commitments on gender equality and gender mainstreaming translate into action throughout the world and at the country level. UN Women is also expected to provide strong and coherent leadership in support of countries’ priorities and efforts, building effective partnerships with civil society, the nodal government agency, the private sector, and other relevant actors.

UN Women India Country Office is currently implementing a programme in six states (Assam, Delhi-NCR, Kerala, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal) to forge and strengthen multi-stakeholder partnerships in the tea, spice, cotton and textile sector to improve the overall health, wellness, and safety of women in the tea, spice, cotton, and textile sectors. The programme also aims to collaborate with local governments and community organizations to strengthen the capacities of women and men agents of change, ensuring sustainable practices and coordinating efforts in the prevention of violence against women.

Leveraging UN Women’s convening role, UN Women ‘s plan to bring together all key stakeholders under one space for a pan India event. In this context, UN Women seeks to hire an agency who would have required experience to organize national level government/corporate events to ensure the event is conducted smoothing and all requirements mentioned in the TOR are executed with highest efficiency and professionalism.

About the Event:

UN Women is organizing a pan India level event to bring the learnings from the ground, share best practices and lessons learnt from all stakeholders, innovative models, business commitment and state government line departments initiatives and provide a platform to have all key players in a cross-learning and sharing share. The learnings and recommendations from this event would be incorporated in the programme design of UN Women programs and in policy advocacy with respective stakeholders. 

This event aims to create a platform for learning and networking while further catalysing commitments and driving deeper programmatic, business and policy actions toward gender equality.

Objectives:

The forum has the following objectives:

  • Facilitate peer learning, networking, and knowledge exchange among industry partners, CSOs, and enablers advancing gender equality and women’s empowerment in the workplace and community in alignment with the UN Women’s mandate of gender equality and empowerment.
  • Highlight the efforts of companies and factories that promote practices, programs and actions to create more gender-responsive and safer work cultures in the industry
  • Produce and highlight examples of best practices from state line departments
  • Showcase innovative models from civil society organizations
  • Inspire all stakeholders and the broader ecosystem stakeholders to collaborate on meaningful contributions to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and promote an inclusive, equal, and sustainable future for all.

Building on the momentum generated by UN Women’s work in the supply chain sectors and leveraging established stakeholder network, as well as broader ecosystem partners, UN Women is hosting one-day and half day event “ENSURING HEALTH, WELLNESS, SAFETY IN SUPPLY CHAINS FORUM 2025” on 21 and 22 August 2025 in New Delhi.

The Forum promises to be a transformative event for advancing gender equality and women’s empowerment.

Key Stakeholders: Government, Private sector, industry bodies and partners, Academia, Civil Society Organizations.

Duration: Expected Delivery Date: By 18th August 2025

Location: Delivery address: UN Women, UN House, 55, Lodhi Estate, New Delhi 110003, India.

Payment terms: A one-time full payment will be paid upon satisfactory and complete delivery of all the items and within 30 days from submission of invoice.

Eligibility

  • Vendor is a legally registered entity in India.
  • Vendor is not suspended, nor otherwise identified as ineligible by any UN Organization, the World Bank Group, or any other International Organization in accordance with Instructions to Vendors.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in printing related industry.
  • The venue is available for the dates specified & capacity available for round tables/cluster seating/accommodation.

Relevant Experience of the Organization:

  • Legally constituted commercial organization with a valid registration in India.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the printing related industry
  • Full availability and compliance with all good and service requirements as required by UN Women.
  • Accept UN Women General Conditions of the Contract.
