About the Organization

All India Institute of Medical Sciences Patna is strategically located to address regional imbalances in healthcare services, research, and training. It was established under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY) during the first phase following the- then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s visionary announcement in Independence Day Speech on 15th August 2003.

AIIMS Patna was one amongst six hospitals along with Raipur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, and Rishikesh, in the country to improve healthcare facilities, provide quality medical education in super-specialty disciplines, and promote healthcare inclusion in underserved areas.

Job Description/Responsibilities

• Manage the activities of the Section 8 company and be responsible for its overall fiinction and coordinating with the board and governing council
• To provide technical, regulatory, liaison, administrative and organizational support within the Incubator, working in Conjunction with incubates, innovators and researchers
• Independently create, operationalize, and manage the technology platforms assigned. Create SOPs, train technical staff and manage them for efficient delivery of the technical services.
• Conduct research on method development and provide technical advice to users in planning their experiments involving different technology platforms, and help the user with data acquisition and interpretation. Troubleshoot problems with instruments with the help of authorized application scientist or engineer.
• Share responsibilities in organization of various training courses conducted by the incubation centre

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Life Sciences /MBBS/First class in BTech/ M.Sc degree in Life Sciences/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Computer science/ Biomedical/IT or equivalent.

Experience:

• Four (4) years' experience with PhD, or 6 years with MBBS/Nt Tech, or 12 years' experience with MSc/BTech degree, having demonstrated hands-on expertise in different technology platforms.
• The experience in a scientific organization of repute in the area of R&D, bio-incubator or research management only shall be counted.

Desirable:

• At least 5-7 years of Experience in business management, or management of the intellectual property, or project management.
• First class in MBA or Equivalent (MBBS/ MS/ graduation in engineering or equivalent); minimum 10 years of work experience

Salary

Emoluments: Rs. 1,00.,000 per month (Fixed)
